The deep, soft pile soaks up standing water instead of pushing it around, so a rinsed car dries in a few passes with no streaks or spotting. The edges are bound in the same soft fabric to keep hard seams away from delicate finishes, and the generous size still folds down small enough to handle comfortably.

Best for: Drying paintwork, glass, wheels and door shuts after a wash. It is just as useful indoors for shower screens, worktops and spills.

Not for: Do not drag it over a gritty, unrinsed car. Rinse first, or the trapped grit can mark the paint.
