“It picked up the water from the roof and bonnet without leaving trails. The 40 × 60 size is easy to control even when it is damp.”

Best for: Drying paintwork, glass, wheels and door shuts after a wash. It is just as useful indoors for shower screens, worktops and spills.
Not for: Do not drag it over a gritty, unrinsed car. Rinse first, or the trapped grit can mark the paint.

Pairs well with
Add another essential and finish the whole job in one go.
A substantial 40 × 60 cm drying towel woven from dense 500GSM microfibre. The deep, soft pile soaks up standing water instead of pushing it around, so a rinsed car dries in a few passes with no streaks or spotting. The edges are bound in the same soft fabric to keep hard seams away from delicate finishes, and the generous size still folds down small enough to handle comfortably.

Soft on the paintwork
“My car shows every mark, but this glides over the panels and leaves a clean finish. I use the spare towels for glass and door shuts.”

“Much denser than my old cloth and it does not just push water around. I would still like an even larger one for reaching across the roof.”
