Cookie policy
We use as few cookies as we can get away with: enough to remember your basket and your preferences, plus optional analytics that tell us which pages need work. This page lists every one of them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. Local storage works the same way but stays on your device rather than being sent with every request. Both let a site remember something between pages, such as what is in your basket.
Cookies set by us are called first-party. Cookies set by a service we use, such as the checkout, are called third-party. Both are listed below.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. The shop cannot work without them, so they are set without asking.
- Functional. Remember choices you made, such as currency and language.
- Analytics. Optional. Aggregated statistics about how the shop is used.
- Marketing. Not currently used. If that changes, this page and the consent banner change first.
Strictly necessary
These keep the basket and checkout working. They cannot be switched off in the banner.

Functional
These remember a setting you chose. Turning them off does not break the shop, but you will have to set your currency and language again on each visit.

Analytics
Only set if you accept them. They tell us which pages people read and where they leave, in aggregate. We do not use them to identify you personally and we do not share the data for advertising.

Marketing
We do not currently run advertising pixels or retargeting cookies. If we ever add one, we will ask for your consent first, name the provider here and explain what it does before it is set.
Managing your choice
You can accept or refuse optional cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again. Refusing optional cookies has no effect on prices, delivery or your rights.
Browser controls
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, normally under privacy or site settings. Most also offer a private browsing window that clears everything when you close it. Blocking strictly necessary items will stop the basket and checkout working properly.
Changes and questions
We review this list whenever we change something on the site, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. If anything here is unclear, email info@gleamira.co.uk and we will explain it in plain terms.
